This one meant a lot.
Cross Colours defined more than a moment — it shaped a mindset. Bold graphics, louder principles, and a clear cultural stance. So when the opportunity came to collaborate, it wasn’t just about making a sock — it was about honoring a legacy.
The project began with a visit to the Cross Colours HQ, where we met founders Carl Jones and TJ Walker. Stepping into their showroom was like stepping into a time capsule — the 90s energy, the mission, the color, all still present and loud in the best way.
The design pulls from that same energy. We built the sock around a kente-inspired pattern — a nod to heritage, expression, and identity. Not just decoration, but language. Every stitch points back to what Cross Colours has always stood for: unity, visibility, and pride.
This wasn’t just a product drop. It was a collaboration rooted in respect for the past, for the culture, and for the people who shaped it.
